Blouse: River Island
Skirt: River Island

Seriously, River Island, are you kidding me with how short this skirt is? I was hoping to wear it to work, but I think that will be a no!

As for the blouse, it's made of 100% polyester and it is so hot to wear. It looks cute though, despite how sweaty I might get!

  1. that skirt! adorable, but short. I find that with *most* of their stuff. I think they're supposed to be worn lower than where I wear mine. i like to wear mine on my waist, cos that's the narrow bit!

    1. Same here. My waist is so much smaller than my hips that it makes sense to wear them on my waist.

    1. I wouldn't say so, unless you like being sweaty and uncomfortable!

  6. I find skirts so short because I want to wear them so high waisted!
    Really sucks.
They need to add more material!

    1. Same here. I don't have a choice- If I try to wear them on my hips, they ride up since my hips are so sloped!

  8. There are certain shops which you just cannot get decent-length skirts from, unless you are extremely short. A lot of high street stores, definitely Topshop and River Island and to a lesser extent New Look, sell only unwearably short skirts.
Quite like the blouse though! Especially the little bow.

    1. I'm generally ok with Topshop, if I get the size 16. I can fit their 12s and 14s but they are SO short if I wear them!

  12. ugh I always order stuff online thinking it'll be long enough and then it's WAY short- like a shirt instead of a dress. at least the skirt's a cool texture!

  14. I ALWAYS have this issue- and I'm 5'4", so not exactly tall- what on earth do tall ladies do, not wear skirts?! x

  15. Cute outfit but probs a little bit inappropriate for school. You'd be like that teacher off that Busted music video for 'What I Go To School For!' Haha! Do you think you'll wear this outfit when you aren't at work then? x

  16. I looooove that blouse. I like the skirt too, too bad it's too short for work but you can totally wear it on the weekend or after work!
