Celebratory Nando's

Today I woke up bright and early for something very important- My driving theory test. I hadn't started to study for it until Thursday and I was terrible at all the mock tests I did. I fully expected to fail but, to my delight, I passed! Only by one mark but still- I passed first time! Just another step towards my primary life goal of learning to drive!

To celebrate, Rich and I did what we always do when something deserves a celebration- Went to Nando's!

This is Rich's I-want-chicken face!

I love that the customer satisfaction surveys say "Have you been to Nando's before? If yes, where?" I take great delight in listing every single Nando's restaurant I've ever visited and yes, they are listed in alphabetical order. (In case you were wondering, there's 22 of them).

On the way home, we passed a brass band at a band stand! How quaint!

  2. Omg I love nandos :P Me and Sean sometimes go there when we're in Oxford. The one in Oxford has the sauce bottles all along the ceiling. Congrats on passing your theory :) I haven't even started my driving tests yet! xxx

  7. Oh Nando's makes me so nostalgic. I lived above one for a while when I was living in England a decade ago. But now I'm a vegetarian so I'm not sure I would enjoy it that much anyways??

Congrats on your theory test! I failed the first time by one point which was a bummer, BUT I ended up passing my actual test with no points spared (lucky me)!

  11. Well done! Very pleased for you :)

I also went to Nando's today (just because we felt like it...). I think I've only ever been to 2-3 different Nando's restaurants in my life...need to sort that out and catch up with you! x

  12. You should go to the original Nandos, in South Africa! That's right, it's a little known fact that it's a South African restaurant, which stems from the flavours of Mozambican–Portuguese cuisine. Often the ones in the UK play South African music and have original South African art on the walls too :) And congrats!
