Boux Avenue West Quay Opening

I was lucky enough to be invited to the opening of the new Boux Avenue store in Southampton's West Quay. Boux Avenue is owned by Theo Pathitis (who I adopted as my celebrity dad a few years ago) so he was opening the store.

The store is so pretty! It's really spacious but still filled to the brim with lovely underwear, nightwear and gifts.

I love this little Christmas set up. All of the Christmas gifts have this gorgeous red and white packaging. This is just what I like in a Christmas present: Festive but still classy.

Boux Avenue's slippers are beyond perfect, whether you prefer Scandinavian knit booties...

...or crochet bunnies

I'm a big fan of this adorable koala hot water bottle

Of course the underwear is absolutely beautiful. Just look at this gorgeous cameo detail

Cleverly, the underwear is stored in these drawers so it makes the most of the space although I'm not sure how I feel about the size 16s being right at the bottom. Let's face it, I'm going to get stuck on the floor and have to ask a complete stranger to pull me up!

Look how adorable this bridal babydoll is! It has matching knickers too. So pretty!

The fitting rooms are the highlight of the store. They're filled with beautiful details like these crystal hooks.

They also have three different light settings. Unfortunately, these weren't working so I can testify what they were like, although it's a very clever idea.

There's also a concierge desk outside the changing rooms. Underneath the light buttons is a little button to press if you need assistance. This means you can get a different size or colour sent through to your fitting room without the hassle of getting dressed again or popping your head around the door.

Even the light shades are beautiful!
Other bloggers at the event included Hannah, Ashleigh, Brogan and Megan. We also got talking to Lizzie, who was lovely and it was great to meet her. This is Ashleigh's face when Theo walked past us!

After a quick detour to the Boux Avenue photobooth, which unfortunately wasn't working, we popped back up to see Theo officially open the store.
We were very happy to receive these lovely goodie bags, containing a robin heart warmer (similar here), lovely grey slipper socks, Pink Taffeta bubble bath and loads of delicious rock sweets! Thank you, Boux Avenue!
Before heading back, Ashleigh and I popped into John Lewis to visit the Bear Cave. What a cute little fella!

He looks very happy to see me!

There was also a postbox and paper to write a letter to Father Christmas. Apparently we'll even get a reply!
It was a really lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. Thank you so much Boux Avenue!
