Christmas candles

One of the great things about Christmas (and there are a lot of them!) is all the festive candles around everywhere. I have a tendency to buy every single one that I see!
The green one at the back is a Christmas tree scented candle from Sainsbury's. Their candles are amazing right now and only a couple of pounds! The square one is from Primark. It's not actually a festive candle since it's vanilla scented but oh well. The red cinnamon and cloves one is also Primark. Of course, it wouldn't be a Christmas candle collection without a Yankee Candle, which I got on special offer in Clinton's. Actually, all of these were pretty good bargains. I think the whole bunch cost something like £15.
This is another Sainsbury's candle. Isn't it just the prettiest thing ever! It was on special offer at £5, and it smells insanely good! A real traditional Christmas scent- spice and cloves. I absolutely recommend it!

  1. I do begrudge Yankee Candle's prices a little but they do smell great and they last for ages.
I have that Sainsbury's one and two lovely red ones, they're going to make great reusable Christmas decorations.

  2. Sainsbury's are definitely winning at candles at the mo - my secret santa sent me a Snowflakes one and it smells freaking awesome.
I quite fancy a whiff of the Yankee Marshmallow one too.

  3. I used to dislike Yannkee Candles because I was like, $24.99 for a candle? Nooooo.
But then I smelled their Cookies for Santa one, and fell in love. My boyfriend and I stocked up on the Samplers Votives ones and burn them throughout our flat. It smells delicious.

There's obviously no Sainsbury's in America, but Target does have some really great scents, especially in the summer.

  4. I LOVE Yankee candles and like you said wouldn't be Christmas without one! That one looks like it smells divine - even the name! I am going to search for that last Sainsbury's candle as it is just gorgeous and 4 wicks! Nice!

  6. I have the Christmas Tree one from Sainsbury's! I have it lit now, but it doesn't quite replace the smell of being next to a real Christmas tree :( x
