Plymouth with Leona

Warning: This post contains images of blood. If you're not a blood fan, it's probably best to be careful when reading!

If you follow me on Twitter, you may have noticed that I spent the last couple of days in Plymouth with Leona. For those of you who are new to this 'ere blog, I met Leona on Twitter 2 years ago as a result of our blogs and now she's my BFF. We're even going to be bridesmaids at each other's weddings. God bless the internet!

I was absolutely terrified about meeting Rex but I had nothing to worry about. He was a lovely, crazy little dude. Look at that little face!

Doggy kisses!

Look, Leona has one of Kaelah's wood signs! Isn't it cute? After filming a couple of videos, Leona and I headed to the city centre. We were both getting piercings so we needed to fill up our tummies.

Where else would we go but Nando's? Yummy yummy chicken!

Many Leonas!

We wanted to get another photobooth photo like the one we had taken in Bristol last year, but neither of us had change so we popped into Leona's place of work. She introduced me to her colleagues (hi Jase!) and off we went!

Like a total idiot, I left my sunglasses at her flat, so we went into Primark and tried on every. Single. Pair.

Shall I buy these for my hen do? (Hint: The answer is no!)

We popped into Blue Banana and were served by a very lovely guy who is also a teacher. We had a 20 minute wait so we popped into a nearby coffee shop.
I'll be posting a proper post about it next month, so I can talk about a healing process but, needless to say, it bled a lot! It wasn't as painful as it looks, thankfully!

We headed back to the flat to pick up Rex. The plan was to go for a walk along The Hoe but, unfortunately, we ran out of time and had to head back to the station. Oh well- I guess I'll just have to go back another time!

Look how pretty Plymouth is from up here!
I can't get over how beautiful this train route is. How could anyone get bored of this journey?
Exmouth at sunset is just beautiful!

Thank you Leona (and Rex!) for a lovely visit! I had such a fun time and I miss you guys already!

  1. You were in my hometown, :). I'm starting to appreciate it more thanks to my friends cos I'm usually out and about more because of them and the fact I'm trying to say YES more. What's your favourite thing/place to do in Plymouth? It's so nice when you get to know and meet people from the blogger world, everyone is so nice, well so far that is. x

    1. This is the first time I'd been so I don't have a favourite place. I really want to go to The Hoe next time though. I was gutted that I didn't get to see the lighthouse!

  8. Lovely photos and it's so great to meet people over the internet! I've never met someone from the internet in RL but I hope to in the summer.

I have my rook pierced and I was surprised that it didn't hurt as much as I thought. Mine bled a bit but it heals quite nicely and quickly if you don't sleep on that side of your head haha
