7 beauty products I will always repurchase

It's rare that I repurchase beauty items. There's so many amazing products out there to try so why would I limit myself to the same products every time? Despite this, there are a few very special items that I return to time and time again.
Beauty products I always repurchase
LUSH RUB RUB RUB SHOWER SCRUB
Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub Review
This is the product of my dreams! A super scrubby sea salt treatment with an orange flower and mimosa, it's so fresh and leaves my skin baby soft. If I'm having a bad day, a shower with this beauty is all I need to take on the world. I was over the moon when Lush Oxford Street opened with 665g mega pots of Rub Rub Rub- and even happier when they were rolled out nationwide!

LUSH AMERICAN CREAM CONDITIONER
Lush American Cream Hair Conditioner Review
To be fair, I've loved all of the conditioners I've tried from Lush so I'll probably repurchase them in rotation but American Cream is the one I return the most. It's supposed to smell like strawberry milkshake, but I don't get that from it at all. What I smell is an amazingly creamy vanilla. The conditioner is really rich and moisturising, and works wonders on my dry, frizzy hair.

LUSH PINK PEPPERMINT FOOT LOTION
Lush Pink Peppermint Fair Trade Foot Lotion Review
This was called Fairtrade Foot Lotion when I bought it... not that you can tell! The reason this label is completely worn away is because I've used this product every day for the past 19 months. Seriously. The use-by date was July 2015 but it's still absolutely fine to use, thankfully. Despite applying this lotion to my feet every night since July 2014, I still have about 2cm of product left in the 250g pot. A little goes a long way. Before using this cream, my feet were so cracked that they were bleeding and it was painful to walk. I'd tried everything, including medicated creams and nothing was working. As a last resort, I gave this a go and now my feet are perfectly soft and smooth. In my eyes, it's nothing short of a miracle product! I never wrote a review but when I eventually repurchase, I'll be sure to publish one.

BENEFIT POREFESSIONAL PRIMER
Benefit The Porefessional Review
I'm just starting my third tube of this in 18 months which isn't bad going. I've tried other primers but nothing works like Porefessional. My skin feels amazingly smooth and even when it's applied, and my foundation glides on effortlessly. It also seems to have a moisturising effect on dry patches as it stops any product clinging to them. I put my skin success down to this.

MAC BOMBSHELL & VELVET TEDDY LIPSTICKS
MAC Bombshell Velvet Teddy Lipstick Review
I've never finished a lipstick. I keep buying them but because I don't wear them every day, I'm creating a backlog that I'll probably never get to the end of. My great grandchildren will inherit 500 MAC lipsticks. So it seems a little premature to say I will always repurchase these lipsticks, seeing as I haven't even finished them yet.  I just know that these two wonder products will be first two lipsticks I finish. Maybe one day I'll even get to try that fabled Back to MAC programme! Bombshell is a perfect pinky-nude with a hint of frost (fun fact: I wear it whenever I see my doctor in hopes that he'll fall madly in love with me) whereas Velvet Teddy is a matte, 90s-inspired brown.

REAL TECHNIQUES MIRACLE COMPLEXION SPONGE
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge Review
Generally, I tend to avoid products that are hyped up. Buying my Real Techniques sponge was one of those rare times that I gave in and boy, was it worth it! This sponge makes my make up apply like a dream and I love how it's just one tool for my entire base. Saves so much space in my bag and it's super easy to clean too- if you know the trick (cheap hotel soap, lather up the sponge and rinse. Takes 30 seconds). Unfortunately I've found it rips really easily so I need to buy replacements a lot but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make!

Of course, this doesn't mean I won't try other scrubs, conditioners, primers, lipsticks and sponges. I'll just keep adding to my collection...

  1. I always see you mention Rub Rub Rub and I keep saying to myself I'll get it next time and always forget! Oooops!

I really like the sound of the foot cream, as I have really sore, cracked heels too! I'd not heard of it until now.

I can't seem to get on with POREfessional, I have a really really red face and it just makes my skin a funny colour :-(

  2. The RT sponge is one I'm really loving, although I'm not looking forward to the day mine rips! Porefessional is still one I'm yet to try, although it does sound lovely! x

  3. I love the sound of the foot lotion, I've never looked at that product before. I haven't tried Rub Rub Rub either. I do love the Big Shampoo from Lush, and their Honey I Washed My Hair shampoo bar.

  6. I love POREfessional and Rub Rub Rub but I could NOT get on with American Cream! I hated it, it didn't condition my hair and the scent was so strong it gave me a headache! xx

  8. I love the pink peppermint foot lotion. My local lush gave me a pot of it when I was 35 weeks pregnant and suffering (I love those guys!) and it was a life saver especially when we went on holiday to Cornwall. Pro tip; don't do Cornwall with a entire newborn pressing down without with stuff! Haha. x

  9. Oh my gosh haha, your great grand children are going to be extremely lucky! I've never tried either of those lipstick colours but I've heard a lot about Velvet Teddy! I'm loving make up sponges too, I've got one by Maybelline but they're just such a clever invention!

  11. I tried American Cream years ago and really loved it, it's just costs too much to afford re-purchasing it :( The sea salt scrub i'd like to give a go though, i've no idea if orange flower means it smells of orange, but that's one of my favourite shower scents! x Amy at Amy & More

  14. I totally agree with you about the Real Techniques sponge! When I washed mine for the very first time it ripped a little. Luckily, it's pretty cheap compared to the Beauty Blender, so I don't mind it as much. I recently went to Ulta, and they had a two-pack of them for like $8.
