OOTD // Nautical Stripes

When we went to Liverpool, I decided to buy a couple of new outfits since I need a bit of a wardrobe update for autumn. Unfortunately, in the whole huge Liverpool store, I only found two things that I liked- this black A-line skirt and striped t shirt. Still, it made a cute nautical-themed outfit which was fitting!
Plus size striped t shirt
I wasn't sure about the skirt at first. A-line is a shape I haven't worn before and, since it's clingier than the skater skirts I prefer, I thought it might be too clingy. As it turns out, I really love it! Yes, it's a bit tight around the hips but it's still super comfortable and the cord fabric makes it perfect for autumn.

Striped tops are a staple but the inclusion of the cute tattoo-style swallows makes this far cuter than a plain tee. Since the stripes are quite thin, it doesn't photograph too well (Does it make your eyes go funny too?) but, trust me, it looks great in person!
Nautical plus size outfit
It was a pretty windy day so my hair was all over the place, as you can see! It made for some amazing outtakes!
Plus size a line skirt
This skirt is definitely going to be reappearing throughout the autumn. I've already got some ideas in mind and I'm even planning to buy similar skirts in different colours. I should take a risk more often!

  1. That skirt better keep reappearing because it suits you so much! Don't worry the top didn't make my eyes go funny and looked perfect with the skirt.

  2. I recently bought a nearly identical skirt but in burgundy, and wasn't sure at first about it either but when I finally bought it, I loved it too!
It's kind of a little 90s with the buttons and a little vampy with the dark cord, and perfect for fall :) now I see yours I want black... Or maybe navy blue!
