Glamourween!

Hallloween is coming and I am super, duper excited! I seriously love Halloween so, when F&F contacted me to tell me about their Glamourween competition, I jumped at the chance! I was given a £50 budget to buy an outfit from F&F and channel an "urban witch look".

I decided to go for a 60s-inspired look, but I didn't want to look like I was stuck in a timewarp. I chose this leather-look mini skater skirt as I love the tight waist and flared hip combination. What you might not be able to see well is that the skirt is covered in tiny perforations. It's a really cute little detail.

This is my I'm-just-a-cute-innocent-little-witch pose.

The shoes are suedette block heels with a closed toe. Very simple but also quite elegant. I'm not really one for heels usually but I think these really finish off the outfit. I have my broomstick so I have no need for flats!

I finished off the look with a mini sequinned witches' hat and, of course, my trusty broomstick!

This is my rawr-I'm-a-lumberjack-witch pose.

What do you think? Did I pull it off?

  1. Love this look! I'm never one for Halloween but I have similar skirt so may attempt the 60 vibe for the occasion. Got to love the broomstick too!
