Review // Benefit Rollerlash Mascara

Oh, Benefit! Not only do you seem to read the beauty part of my brain, but you also spoil me absolutely rotten. I was very lucky to have a wonderful vanity case of gifts delivered to my door, including a wonderful personalised eye mask, pot of It's Potent! eye cream, a book of cocktails and the incredible new release, Rollerlash included with the latest issue of Elle magazine.

Needless to say, I was super excited to try this mascara! Benefit mascaras are my thang so the news of a brand spanking new release had got me all fired up! The retrotastic packaging is gorgeous but the real star is the revolutionary brush. It's inspired by hair rollers, with a curved design and miniscule rubber hooks worked into the bristles to hook and curl lashes as it applies.
The good news? It really works! I was genuinely blown away by the difference one coat made to my lashes. I apply it slowly, curling the brush as I go and watch as my lashes lengthen before my very eyes. It's like magic! The idea is that you never have to use eyelash curlers again (Benefit included a pair wrapped in biohazard tape!) and I can confirm that the length and curl it achieves is remarkable!
One coat is enough to create a really dark, dramatic look. I find it looks best without eyeliner as this allows the lashes to really show off all their glory! Fans of They're Real will be glad to hear that Rollerlash has all the longevity but removes really easily!
