PACKAGING
As usual with Lush moisturisers, Celestial is packaged in a 45g black pot with a twist top. It's secure and leak-proof, and the flattened pot makes it convenient for travelling. As a black pot, it's also part of the Lush recycling scheme in which you can exchange 5 pots for a free face mask.
FRAGRANCE
You know Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream? Celestial smells just like that! The vanilla ingredients give it a warm, creamy note which is complemented with almond oil and cocoa butter for that cookie dough-esque fragrance.
CONSISTENCY & APPLICATION
Bear with me here. The consistency of Celestial is smooth and whipped, almost exactly like beaten egg whites. It's a very light but a little goes a long way, although you may need some extra product on particularly dry patches. This light formula means it's very easy to apply, absorbed quickly and leaves my skin feeling really smooth.
Although I prefer a heavier moisturiser for winter, I know Celestial is going to be a staple of my spring/ summer skincare regime!

I'm definitely in need of a good moisturiser!
ReplyDeleteI've just been to Lush for the first time ever (insert money flying away emoji). I don't know how I feel yet about the face mask and soap, but I'm definitely loving the bath bombs!! This moisturizer sounds divine!!! i'll have to check it out - on my second trip!
ReplyDeleteCelestial sounds like such a nice summer mosituriser! I never tried any of the Lush face creams as I'm always a bit worried, because I think they contain parabens. I might try and get a sample though and see how I get on with, because I love all their other products so much!

You know what I've never heard of British nanny and although I don't necessarily know what each of their products are for (moisturiser etc) I think I do know most of the names x
