OOTD // 90s art teacher
How fabulously ugly is this jumper? I feel like a 90s art teacher in it and I'm totally down with that aesthetic. Ami took these photos for me in Hamburg and it was absolutely bloody freezing! The sacrifices I make for the blog!
Jumper: Sainsbury's
Skirt: New Look
Leggings: Evans
Boots: Skechers (similar here)
Coat: ASOS (similar here)
I actually saw this jumper when I popped into Sainsbury's for a standard food shop. I didn't buy it then but couldn't get it out of my head so eventually I had to go back and buy it. I sized up so I could have it nice and snuggly but it turns out, it already had an oversized fit. This meant it was pretty loose on me but, rather than returning it, I decided I absolutely loved the way it looked. The way it covers my bum makes it look amazingly 90s with nothing but leggings underneath but, unfortunately, I'm not quite committed enough to rock that look out in public!
Instead I wore it over this basic black skater skirt from New Look. It's one of my most worn items since it's so versatile. I should probably stockpile it since it took me so long just to find a simple black skater skirt. You'd think you can pick one up anywhere but apparently not!
Since I was in a cold location and I knew I was going to be doing lots of walking, I cracked out my Skechers boots. Even though the short laces are the stupidest thing in the world (it should not be this difficult to tie your shoe laces!), they're so comfortable and practical that I'll let it slide just this once.
Of course, I wore my grey belted coat which I am absolutely in love with at the moment. I hope you're prepared to see it in every single OOTD throughout the winter because it will be!

I adore this jumper on you. The colours are fab and you're right, it is very '90's art teacher' but in the best way possible. x
