There are a lot of people who make frequent recurrences in my posts, so here is the lowdown on who's who.

Rich is my husband. We married in August 2014 at a Harry Potter-themed wedding at Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida. You can read about our wedding here and find out more about Rich here. 

Marie and I became friends in secondary school when we were 13. By the time we'd left sixth form, we were extremely close and Marie was my lifeline through my years of teenage angst. A keen cosplayer and gamer, Marie blogs here in a land of geeky fandom! 

I met Leona through Twitter in April 2012 and we quickly became friends. After meeting in real life for the first time in Bristol, our BFF status was confirmed and she ended up being one of my bridesmaids. Leona has her own blog here which, of course, you should check out.

It was at university in 2008 that I met Laura, and I pretty much spent all of my student years taking over her flat. In 2012, she started a relationship with her now-husband Matt, who ended up becoming one of Rich's best friends. The four of us have formed a pretty strong unit and they were our only guests at our Florida wedding. In fact, Laura was our officiant! 


Jamie and Myles are my brothers, although it's very difficult to find a photo of both of them together as they live at opposite ends of the country. Jamie, who is 15 months younger than me, lives in Liverpool whereas Myles, who will always be my baby brother since there's a 12 year age gap between us, lives with our mum in the same Hampshire town as me. In 1997, I was given a fluffy pink pig for Christmas and imaginatively named him Fluffy. He became almost like a pet to me and Rich took him on board when we met. Laura gave us George in 2011, and he became Fluffy's brother. To find out more about Fluffy and George, click here.
