OOTD // Miffy with TruffleShuffle
Fun fact: When I was 15, I wanted a Miffy tattoo. I'm not going to lie, part of me still thinks that would be really cool. I absolutely love the little Dutch bunny and I cannot resist any Miffy-branded products. Luckily for me, TruffleShuffle has a whole bunch of them, including this super cute Miffy raglan baseball t-shirt. Isn't it gorgeous! If you want your own Miffy top (or bag, or mug, or door stop...), keep reading, because I have a 15% discount code at the end!
Top: TruffleShuffle
Skirt: ASOS
Leggings: Evans
Shoes: Primark (similar here)
I've never worn a raglan top before, so I was a little uncertain about how it would fit, but it's absolutely perfect! The sleeves are comfortable and roomy, while the material is soft and stretchy, so it fits beautifully. I bought a size large and, as you can see, the sizing is very generous. Hooray! Of course, the best bit is the little Miffy peeking out of the pocket detail. I love the sporty feel of this top, even though I'm far from athletic! It's just a really cute, casual look and it will be perfect for summer.
My favourite thing about this top? How perfectly the yellow of Miffy's dress matches my yellow skater skirt! This skirt is my favourite, not just because it means I'm finally breaking away from the black skirt I wear in every single post (here, here, and here, for example), but it's really light, so it's great for wearing in hot weather and in the slightest breeze it does that flippy Marilyn Monroe thing which still pleases me inordinately, even though I'm supposed to be a grown adult now.
If you look very carefully at my feet, you might just see my nude lacy toe socks poking out from behind my black ballet shoes. Let me tell you, these have changed my life! I'm not a sock person. I don't like my toes feeling squished when they're encase in tight fabric. But I'm wearing these Primark beauties all day long, even if I'm not leaving the house! They're incredibly thin so it feels like I'm hardly wearing anything, and they have little sticky strips around the edges so they don't slip, but without tight elastic digging into my skin. Perfect for wearing with ballet flats to stop the rubbing. They come in nude, white and black, and I've asked for a literal tonne of them for my birthday, seeing as they're something like £3 for two pairs (if Rich doesn't deliver an actual metric tonne come June, I'm going to be very disappointed!)
Anyway, sock praising over, let's go back to TruffleShuffle for a bit. They have so many cute Miffy products but if children's books aren't your thing, take a look at their movies or games ranges. They've just released this amazing Point Horror collection and I'm definitely going to be picking up a few pieces come payday! Fancy 15% off anything? Use the code BEDBUG15. You're welcome!
