Nails // Essie Poor Li'l Rich Girl

Now that we are well and truly in autumn, I figured it was time to ditch the neutrals and head more into berry shades. When I arrived at the nail salon, I already had the idea of getting a burgundy colour. It was just a matter of deciding which one to get.

After looking at three almost identical shades from Essie- Bordeaux, Macks and Poor Li'l Rich Girl- I settled on the latter. I love the richness of the colour and how autumnal it is. It's not quite as opaque as I'd like and probably needed three coats rather than the two I got but I absolutely adore it. Now it's time to start thinking of my festive nails!

  8. You're right, this really is the most perfect colour for Autumn! Though if I'm honest, I'm up for anything so rich and red all year round!
