Yesterday, I was a broken dolly. This was the most fun outfit shoot ever. I put my Danny Elfman discography on and danced like my joints were broken. It was a lot of fun!

If you've been reading for a while, you should know that I adore fancy dress. Halloween is my second favourite holiday of the year (behind Christmas) and, as it's half term, I have a lot of time on my hands right now. So what to do? Dress up for no reason other than I feel like it, of course!
Wow, you look amazing! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteThe make up is wonderful and that skirt is gorgeous. I love it! :) x
ReplyDeleteThanks Elle!
DeleteI love this look! So creative and adorable. You're lucky. I live in the States, and Halloween is CANCELED! BECAUSE OF THE HURRICANE!!! Actually, that's a good thing seeing as I have no power and horrid storms... But it's canceled!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hadn't thought about how it would affect Halloween. That's horrible! Still, I guess it's not the worst thing that could happen.
DeleteI love this!
ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope you've seen Dark Shadows, and saw the amazing chipped porcelain fx they did on Eva Green! too cool.
And you totally could have worn this to an ETID concert!

I haven't seen it! I have this huge fear of Edward Scissorhands and in the adverts, Johnny Depp just looked too much like Edward Scissorhands with the long fingers and all.
DeleteThis outfit is awesome, very cute/creepy. That skirt is perfect xo
ReplyDeleteHaha cute and creepy is what I love!
Deletethat is very awesome make up. :-)

This is fantastic!! Such a clever idea, shame you couldn't keep it on for the whole night! xx
ReplyDeleteI know. I'd like to keep it on forever!
DeleteI love that costume! I'm a bit of a costume snob and prefer things to be either homemade/enhanced with things you do yourself eg facepaint instead of being straight off the factory floor as it were.
ReplyDeleteThis is so creative and unique :)

I'm a costume snob too! It's so much more fun when you create a costume yourself.
Deletei LOVE THIS!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look really cute! :) By the way, I think black hair color really suits you, and also the cut! In my opinion, you should try out something like that one day ;>
ReplyDeleteI don't really ever comment, but your blog is always one of the subscriptions that I go straight for when it appears, you are always interesting :)
Best wishes,
XX
Thank you! I dyed my hair black a few times when I was 18. I've considered doing it again but it's been so long since I've dyed my hair.
DeleteI've wanted a hairstyle like this for a very long time but since my hair is so curly, I'd have to straighten it everyday. Annoying!
I love your makeup! I even showed my coworker because it looked so cool. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to be a doll for halloween on year, I love the whole broken/cracked face make up too much!
ReplyDeleteHave I told you I love you? I really do! This is a great look.
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is amazing! I love the makeup. You look quite a bit like Winona Ryder circa Beetlejuice here, with the dark short fringe and large eyes. Awesome job!
