I'm actually posting this at 12:19am in the New Year, watching some Lee Mack on BBC1 but we'll just pretend it's still yesterday.
About 18 months ago, I started a shortlived online vintage shop. The upside of this is that I have more unsold stock than you can shake a stick at. When I bought them, I was about 800 litres of Pepsi (full fat) heavier than I am now so not one piece was big enough for me to dubiously nab for my own.
Now though, unpacking the stock from my move 3 weeks ago (yes, I'm still unpacking- I have a lot of clothes!) a good few Topshop sizes smaller, I have rediscovered these clothes that I can now, beautifully and majestically, fit into.
This skirt is one of these gems. It's black fleecy wool with this lovely dark green gosgrain ribbon trim. The elasticated waist is great because it acts like a cincher belt. I think I look like a (slightly chunky) ballerina in this outfit.
I experimented with my hair again. I think this ponytail looks really cute. I absolutely love the bouffant style. I think I'll make this my signature although not too big for work! I'm not sure what Ofsted will make of it!
What do you think?
This skirt is beautiful Becky! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm now following also :)
