My second day at work was a lot less tiring than yesterday. I already feel like I'm settling in so that's good! The layers worked wonders- I didn't get cold once in my room today- although I do have another thing to add to my consideration list.
I never realised how much time I spend crawling around under tables retrieving stray pencils, pen lids, PE kits and so on. So I definitely need to make sure I'm wearing clothes that are going to protect my poor little knees (and that they are an appropriate length, although that's a given anyway!)
This is what I wore today:
Underneath my cardigan (ballet-tied again because I liked it so much although I'll wear a different one tomorrow) is a brand new short-sleeved stripy jumper with a black lace Peter Pan collar. It's very cute. Such a shame this outfit doesn't do it justice.
Funnily enough, my year leader turned up in a black and white stripy top and black cardigan. We didn't notice until another teacher saw us talking and pointed out that we had matching outfits on! Unfortunately our third year 4 teacher wasn't wearing monochromatic stripes so she stopped the pattern. Shame!

I've got a lovely package from Dorothy Perkins this morning. I'm just relying on one more package from Next and I will have all of my sales purchases. Then I'll do a post to show off my lovely goodies!
I love getting parckages in the post!
