You may have noticed, I write a lot of book reviews. Of course, the problem there is that a lot of people don't have the time or motivation to read through huge blocks of text about a book they haven't read. To make it easier, I've introduced speed reviews. Here are the last five books I reviewed, condensed into 140 characters. Like Twitter, but for book reviews!
The Husband's Secret^- Liane Moriarty

Cairo^ - Chris Womersley

In Plain Sight: The Life and Lies of Jimmy Savile^- Dan Davies

The Strange Library^-
Haruki Murakami

Little Keith Lemon: Memoirs of me Childhood^- Keith Lemon

Well I certainly have a varied taste in books! This is a great cross-section of my book collection to be honest!

This is a great idea, Becky! I love reading book reviews but I know a lot of people like it short and straight to the point xx

I saw the Husband's secret and thought about getting it last summer. The cover drew me in. Never did buy it though and I might not bother now. I like the sound of The strange library though!
ReplyDelete140 character book review is the best idea ever!

I really liked this, such a good idea! I do love reading book reviews, but now and again I don't have the time or energy to read big block reviews so this was really helpful and straight to the point! It helped me to decide which books I would want to read as well :) Thanks
