January in 120mm
Since I got my first film camera for Christmas, I've been shooting photos in 120mm. I plan to do a review of each month to show the things I've been getting up to. Needless to say, my first roll was pretty rubbish. Nevertheless, here are my favourites.
Ah I love experimenting with photography! I've never actually tried 120mm film myself, only 35mm but analogue cameras are far more fun than digital ones - we don't get that excited feeling about seeing our snaps once they've been processed and we can be too selective now I think with just deleting things willy-nilly!

I agree! I was so excited about picking up my film, and I really think about the shot since I know I can't just shoot another one if it's not quite right.
DeleteLove the pictures! I love the atmosphere :)

Thank you Sal!
DeleteCool, I really like the second one!
ReplyDeleteAh, my heart! I've been trying to get a second hand film camera (I suppose that's the only way to get them these days, anyway.) I just get so excited thinking about all the fun I'll be able to get into and the tangible memories I'll have. I agree with you both, digital has made us blase.
ReplyDeleteMine is a Diana F+. There are loads of lomography cameras at www.lomography.com :)
DeleteI love film, it just feels so much more precious when you have something physical to show for your effort. These photos are gorgeous, that second one is gorgeous xo
ReplyDeleteI love having prints in my hand! It's so much more special than digital.
DeleteWonderful pictures!! You should really consider selling shots like that on Etsy, theyre magnificent! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog, I am now following you, hope you can do the same~
