Review: Barry M Lip Liner in Fuchsia

When I bought Candy Yum Yum, I was over the moon with how bright it was. The only problem was that I had no matching lip liner. In the end, I bought this Barry M lip liner as it was the brightest pink I could find. Luckily, it's an almost perfect match.

The packaging is very simple: A standard pencil with a clear plastic lid. The lid doesn't seem particularly strong, and I can imagine it would crack quite easily, so I don't take it out and about with me.

It's easily sharpened and has a good consistency- It's firm enough to create a sharp line but doesn't take a lot of pressure to get a strong colour.

Here you can see the lip liner on the left, and Candy Yum Yum (applied straight out of the bullet) on the right. As you can see, I could create a much sharper, more precise line with the pencil but, when it comes to colour, there's virtually no difference.

It lasts well and compliments my lipstick perfectly. I'm very happy with it!

  1. Oooh, very cool! I don't usually tend to buy a matching pencil for all my lippies and Candy Yum Yum stays put like a trooper, but I like the thought of having a more precise application! I see a slight color difference but it's a pretty darn good match :)

    1. Yeah, there is a little difference but it's very similar for two different brands.
