Last month, I saw Gerard Way at Brixton Academy, which is my spiritual home. I spent many, many hours there as a teen, turning up at 8am to queue for my favourite bands, including My Chemical Romance, of course! You may have noticed the only t-shirts I wear are basic ones, so I haven't bought a band t-shirt for about 7 years. As much as I love them, I'd just never wear them! So imagine my delight when I saw this Gerard Way sweatshirt. Sweatshirts are definitely something I wear a lot, so it's perfect for me! The neckline is a little high and uncomfortable but I might snip it off for a more relaxed look.
When I took these photos, I was originally wearing my new London Retro glasses from Glasses Direct but the light was reflecting in them. Luckily, I managed to take some more clear photos of the glasses so you can have a good look. I knew they'd be amazing since my Babs glasses were fantastic and the new collection, Retrospectiv, is gorgeous. After much deliberation, I settled on the Loren glasses because I love the pentagonal frames and the flash of leopard print on the arms. They're really comfortable with a secure fit and I think they make me look very studious!
(I don't know what this face is!)

If you haven't tried Glasses Direct, I really recommend them. They have a huge range of designer glasses with brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci, and if you're unsure as to whether your chosen frames will suit you, you can try them out first with a free home trial. They've got all bases covered!
I used to love spending days queuing up for gigs, cold cold days but i loved it so much!

Having only stumbled across your blog today, I have only read a handful of posts so far and already I have come across Gerard Way/My Chemical Romance posts and a Harry Potter Studios Tour post that contains a sneaky reference to Gavin and Stacey. Oh my! Feel like yours is a blog I am definitely going to love! :) Charlie x
