Lush Starter Kit // Giveaway

By now it's pretty obvious that I love Lush. Having tried most of the current products, I've built up an idea of what my core collection would be. These products are, in my opinion, the best place to start with Lush and feature one great product from each category. (That is, except the soap and make up as I find Lush soap really drying and I haven't used any of the make up yet). Click on the links to read my reviews on each product.

BATH BOMB

Dragon's Egg

I'm not much of a bath bomb person, to be perfectly honest. I like bubbles. Lots and lots of bubbles! However, when I do plump for a bath bomb, it's always Dragon's Egg! A lemon sherbert wonder of a product, it makes your bathroom smell like a sweet factory. Yum!

BUBBLE BAR
Comforter
A huge slab of blackcurrant goodness, Comforter is The One for bubbles. You can control exactly how much you use, depending on how many bubbles you want and how long you want it to last, and the iconic scent fills the room. It's pretty much a Lush must have... however...

Green Bubbleroon
...Comforter, as amazing and cult-like as it is, is not my favourite. The sweet, unassuming little Green Bubbleroon is my favourite bubble bar by a long shot! Smelling exactly like freshly-cut grass, and producing the perfect amount of bubbles with one half, it's pretty much my ultimate Lush product.

SHOWER

Rub Rub Rub
Time to unleash the big guns! Rub Rub Rub is my number one Lush goodie ever. A refreshing sea salt scrub which manages to encapsulate summer perfectly in a tub, I'm on my third pot in a year. In fact, I've bought one of the huge barrells that are as big as my head from Lush Oxford St, that's how much I love it. You need it in your life. Fo realz.

SHAMPOO

Seanik

I only recently tried Seanik for the first time and it blew me away! I'll admit that the whole concept of shampoo bars put me off a bit but I was amazed at how easy it was to use and how clean my hair (and scalp!) felt afterwards. It doesn't hurt that this particular bar smells exactly like Rub Rub Rub either!

CONDITIONER

American Cream
I'm going to level with you here: I was completely torn between American Cream and Veganese. I adore both but American Cream just won out on account of its rich, creamy fragrance (which smells a hell of a lot nicer than I just made it sound!) and full-coverage conditioning. 

SKINCARE

Catastrophe Cosmetic
Finally, we can't have a Lush starter kit without a face mask, can we? Catastrophe Cosmetic was the first I've tried and it's remained a firm favourite: Cooling, soothing, perfect for problem skin and, of course, blueberrytastic. What's not to love?
