What Jamie Wore

I know I always talk about my crazy little bro, but, unless you've been following this blog for a while, you probably didn't know that I have another brother. Jamie is only 15 months younger than me and, as he lives in Liverpool, we don't see each other very often. Hence the reason why he's rarely featured on my blog.

However, he's come down for the holidays this week and I was so enamoured with what he was wearing that I coerced him into a corner to snap some photos. This is why he doesn't look too chuffed. He's not exactly the posing type!

Coat: Vintage
Jeans: Primark
Shoes: Vintage

His coat is from an army surplus store in Liverpool. It's a vintage 1962 Danish military coat. How awesome is that? Look at this badge on the right shoulder.
It also has engraved buttons with the same emblem.
By the way, he's well aware that this is a woman's coat. Apparently the women's ones were warmer. Good on him for not limiting himself to labels- That's how you find the best gems!

Needless to say, I'm insanely jealous! There's a local army surplus store but, looking it up online, it doesn't seem to sell anything vintage. I want one!

  2. that's cool that it's a womens jacket, I volunteer at oxfam and we always say if it looks unisex to put it on the men's rails, because women are more likely to buy mens clothes than men are to buy women, so good on him! it's a cool jacket!
hope your having a good 2013 so far!

  3. I absolutely love that jacket. It is so nice when you find a good jacket. Tell him I adore him for not caring what label the jacket has according to gender.
