Friday Favourites XXXI

This popped up on my Facebook feed so I don't have a source for it, but it is my life in a nutshell! 
This woman spent 12 months building a perfect replica of Hogwarts out of Lego. It looks pretty cool here but wait until you see the inside. Check out the Flickr account for all the photos- Trust me, you want to see them! 
How cute is this Topshop bikini? It's times like this that I wish I didn't have such a generous chest. It's full-on underwired bra bikini tops or nothing for me!
This is an absolutely beautiful, and simultaneously heartbreaking, story about a couple whose lives mimic The Notebook. Phyllis Potter suffers from dementia, but her husband of 70 years visits every day to read to her from his diary. 
This week, I've been learning to play the Cup Song. It looks easy. It's really, really not! My teaching assistant and I are hoping to be able to recreate this video before too long (though I'm not sure our voices are quite up to scratch!)

    i freaken LOVE the cup song. have you seen pitch perfect? anna kendrick does an amazing version. that story is saaaaaaaad becky. waaaah!

    I saw the lego hogwarts a couple of days ago & its so amazing, the detail inside every room is just insane!

    That eyeliner is definitely me! Luckily most of the time when it smudges I can sort it out from there though ;) I love that bikini too, although I share the same need for underwire! xo

    This is my first visit to your blog and as I was scrolling down I saw this post with the Cup song and I happened to be listening to Anna Kendrick's version from Pitch Perfect at that exact moment! Weird!
    I hope you'll let us know how it goes when you do master it.

    The first picture is kind of me whenever I decide to try some eyeliner... I just end up wiping it all off... Love the Legos, the story, the bikini, and the cup song looks fun. ^_^

    Haha, I spent an industrious weekend last year teaching myself the cup song, you'll get there in the end never fear! Suddenly it all just clicks in to place (not sure about the voice though, still waiting for mine to click in, hehe)
