My custom dress from Ready Ruthie Originals

A while ago, I got a hankering for a blue gingham dress. In my mind's eye, I could see it exactly: A royal blue with puff sleeves and red trim. I looked everywhere, considered making my own and then eventually discovered this dress on Etsy. It was exactly what I was looking for, only navy instead of red and blue. I contacted the seller, Beth of Ready Ruthie Originals, and enquired about the possibility of a custom dress. 
Luckily for me, she was very helpful and accomodating. I told her what I was looking for and sent over my measurements. It arrived over the weekend, and I am over the moon with it. Due to my crazy body shape (Beth actually contacted me to check I had the right measurements!), I've never had a dress that fits me properly before. This one is absolutely made for me and fits like a glove.
It's going to be the perfect dress for summer and I can't wait to wear it!

    OH WOW!! That dress is gorgeous!! I want one!
    (I hope you don't take this the wrong way BUT...) it reminds me of the dresses we wore in primary school, the pattern is similar and the way it sits is just as cute as i remember ours were. Which is probably why I want one, i LOVED my dresses for primary school!! (I'm going to apologise now in case you think that sounds horrid!)

      Haha I totally understand what you mean. I'm lucky I work in a red school- I can wear this in summer without people thinking I'm one of the kids!
