FF XXX: Literature Special

Using Roman numerals was great for labelling my FF posts. That was until I reached this week's. Now I'm going to have all sorts of dodgy search terms in my analytics. If you've arrived here expecting naughty business, I'm sorry. You'll find none of that here. Sorry to mislead you.

Anyway, this week it's World Book Day. In honour of this, I've decided to theme my Friday Favourites with a literature special.
I love love love this Lolita clutch bag. The best thing is that it isn't made from actual books. Instead, the cover is printed on to fabric that is then used to make the bag.
A Clockwork Orange is one of my favourite books. In fact, the first time I ever visited the rock club where I spent my teenage years and later met Rich, I was dressed as Alex. So this sweatshirt is right up my street.

At some point, I must visit the Derby Square Bookstore in Salem. Look at the books just piled up. I could spend hours here. It also reminds me of The Used's All That I've Got video:

I love this story about the Diagram Prize: An accolade awarded for the strangest-named book of the year. Personally, I'm backing Lofts of North America: Pigeon Lofts.

  7. THAT BAG <3 oh Lordy Lordy, that bag is beautiful!!
At first I thought that bookstore looked magical and then I thought "hold the phone, that's got to be a nightmare to find anything in" and my brain couldn't handle how much disorganisation there would be. It LOOKS beautiful but I'm pretty sure i'd have a breakdown in there.

  8. You can never get enough of books :) Lolita is one of my favourite books, it's very special and visceral, I love it, and I also love that clutch version of it, but I bet it's expensive... Want the sweater too! Modcloth had this "The Great Gatsby" jumper and I want it so bad... xx

  9. That bookshop looks like absolute heaven to me! There's a tiny one near by Uni that's similar but it's only one room and quite cramped, but I still spend ages in there :)
Had a look at the rest of the Etsy shop where the Lolita bag came from and wow, the Pride & Prejudice one is just stunning xoxo
