I have a terrible, humiliating story about these shoes. I saw them in Kurt Geiger when they were full price and I absolutely fell in love with them. Rich promised to buy them for my graduation so we went back a few weeks later and they were half price in the sale. Amazing! Unfortunately, they weren't in my size. So I cried. Yep, I cried in a shop because the sale shoes were not in my size. I promise I'm not actually a priveliged princess!
We looked everywhere for them. I even tried squeezing my feet into a size 3, to no avail. Probably because I'm a size 6. Eventually, we found one pair online at John Lewis that were in my size. Happy days!
As a result of this mortifying backstory, I hardly ever wear them. I don't want to ruin them after all that fuss so I only wear them on really, really dry days when I know there is absolutely no chance of damp ruining the velvet.
Look how cute they are though. Totally worth it!
There is nothing worse than when you have your heart set on something only to find it isn't available I think I would have cried as well x
ReplyDeleteIt's so embarrassing but I couldn't help it!
Deletethe best!!!
ReplyDeleteI love them!
DeleteOooh no, that's such a sad story! I work for Kurt Geiger and you do know you can order shoes in if they don't have them in stock, even sale shoes? Glad you managed to track down a pair though, they are super cute!
