Top (worn as a dress): Asos Curve
Tights: Primark

I got this top at the Swap Shop Party I went to last week. I thought it was a dress but, when I actually put it on, it turns out it's a top. Whoops! Look at that sheepish face! I'm a little unsure of what to wear it with. I ended up wearing it with leggings this day but I've never been a fan of the leggings-as-trousers thing. The peplum will look silly with my trusty skater skirts and I don't like pencil skirts or trousers. Any suggestions?

    I bought a tube skirt from Pink Clove for about £9. I literally can't get it off...I never thought I would wear one but I actually love it and I wear it with an almost identical top to the one you have on. I know you say you don't wear them but try the Pink Clove one if you fancy giving it a go x

    I personally always wear leggings with peplums, i think they look nice :)

    I like! Could you get one of those stretchy tube skirts from h and m or somewhere to wear under it and over leggings? It probably wouldn't be that noticeable but it might make you feel better about the leggings as trousers thing? I also hate leggings as trousers!

    I'm not entirely sure what to suggest, to be honest. I practically live in leggings and PJ bottoms so I'm not much help!
