I love the Costa strawberry lemonade, so I thought I'd try making my own. I have to admit, it was a lot of fun playing with the blender! The recipe I used to base mine on used cup measurements. I have no idea what a cup actually is so I just used a Nutella glass! It made enought for two bottles.

You will need:
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped strawberries
1/2 cup lemon juice

1. Heat 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water on a medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Leave to cool.

2. Blend together the strawberries with 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of sugar.

3. Add the cooled sugar-water mixture and 1/2 cup of lemon juice to the blender. Blend until smooth.

4. Cool in the fridge until it is ready to serve.

DeleteThis looks bloomin' delicious! I love all the costa ice drinks, but it bugs me that I'm spending about £3ish for them to blend some juice from a cartoon with ice. Rip off! Definitely need to think about making my own :)
