My best friend lives right near Brighton, which has always been fantastically convenient. I can visit her and have a beach trip at the same time. Ideal! This week I went to stay with her and, of course, a little beach adventure was necessary. We were blessed with wonderful, warm weather so it was absolutely perfect.
Just look at that glorious blue sky!
After enjoying an ice cream on the pebbles, we went for a stroll along the pier.
Far too many 2 pence coins were spent trying to win a troll in the arcade. We were unsuccessful, mostly because the woman who worked there came along and moved the trolls further back when we were mid-game!
By the time we started walking back, the sun was setting over the sea. Look how beautiful it was!
On the way home, I was very excited to spot the infamous Kissing Coppers artwork by Banksy. Unfortunately, as Carrie kindly let me know, this was just a fake that appeared at the beginning of the month. Thank you, Carrie! I would have looked pretty silly if you hadn't told me!
This is the view from Laura's flat. Wow! Isn't it beautiful? I'm extremely jealous!
Guess which wireless network name is Laura's! I wonder why we're friends...
I had a lovely day in Brighton. If you haven't been before, I really recommend it. It's such a wonderful place with everything you could possibly want!
By the way, if you enjoy reading my blog and would love to see me in Company magazine (let's face it- that would be AMAZING!), you can vote for me here.

ReplyDeleteI come from Margate and wish so much that the tourism industry there had survived the introduction of commercial flights! It seems to be picking up a bit now, fingers crossed we'll have a second Brighton on our hands... xxx
