Picnic in the park

Last May, Rich and I celebrated the glorious weather by having a picnic in our local park, and with the wonderful weather this weekend, it only made sense to do the same again! 

Look what a beautiful day it was! 

We dug out our faithful vintage picnic blanket. I love how bright and cheerful it is, although it does tend to attract bugs!

I was very kindly welcomed as a member of Metcalfe's Skinny Topcorn Tribe, so we had lots of delicious popcorn to snack on. Om nom! 

I'm not much of an ice cream fan myself- this is Rich's- but they are very pretty to photograph!

For the first time in about 15 years, I wore jelly shoes. They were so comfortable, not at all sweaty and they didn't make me look 8 years old. Phew!

Doesn't it look tranquil!

There was so much colour in the park with these flowers everywhere. It makes me feel so happy and summery!

This what I wore- An entire Primark outfit, right down to my frilly socks. Yes, I know every blogger has this skirt at the moment but I love it, OK? 

Deciding to spin around in circles was a terrible idea with my ear troubles. I became disproportionately dizzy and was clinging on to Rich for dear life! Still, at least I got some fun photos out of it!

Hovering like a dragonfly!
