DotComGiftShop Christmas Bloggers' Evening

As I mentioned yesterday, Christmas begins in July for press events, so I attended two festive gatherings on the hottest day of the year. The second event was the DotComGiftShop Christmas Bloggers' Evening, and I had a wonderful time.
The venue, Different Gallery in London's Tottenham Court Road area, was a fantastic location. Christmas decorations and gifts were displayed beautifully, and I loved the cheerful bunting adorning the ceiling.

Lovely, vintage-inspired Christmas decorations were hung around the venue. I'm a bit of a Christmas purist and like my decorations to be traditional, so these were all perfect for me. I think the Mistletoe heart Christmas garland is my favourite.

As well as festive goodies galore, there were fun novelty gifts that would be ideal as stocking fillers, such as these rain ponchos

Mini globe pencil sharpener

I really, really need this mini skeleton model in my life!

Soy wax candles

Rabbit night light.

When I opened this, frankly adorable, SpaceBoy lunch bag, I was really excited to see the insulated interior.

Little lamb party lights
Bicycle umbrella.
Not gonna lie, I'd happily have this Farm Store playhouse in my own home!
We were treated to a talk from Jenny Wood, a freelance writer who has worked for the likes of Cosmopolitan, Woman's Own and Closer. She had some really great advice to help us develop our written copy.

My evening was so much fun, and everyone from DotComGiftShop was so friendly. I really recommending checking out their site if you're looking for fun, quirky gifts- it's filled to the brim with cute products. Thank you so much, DotComGiftShop!

  6. I actually let out a loud gasp and an "aww" at the Farm Store playhouse. I remember having something very similar when I was a child. This is one of the reasons you have children. So that you have an excuse to buy toys that you can play with yourself.
