Mini Lush haul

When I went to the Vogue festival last month, I popped into Lush Waterloo and had a wonderful chat with the staff there about My Little Pony and Polly Pocket. It's the smallest Lush store in the UK but it's definitely the friendliest!

Green Bubbleroon

After loving the Rose Bubbleroon so much, I figured I should try the other two varieties. This green one is the ultimate spring bubble bar: It really does smell like cut grass! There's also a citrus note in there so it's a little more zingy and less like you're rolling around in grass cuttings. One half produces an amazing amount of bubbles too.

Yuzu and Cocoa Bubbleroon

I was recommended this one on the basis of the chocolate orange scent, so I was really excited about trying it. Unfortunately, although the scent is lovely, it's only noticeable at close range. I mean really close range- I ended up with bubbles up my nose! Although each half produces a decent amount of bubbles, I wish the fragrance was stronger.

Sex Bomb bath ballistic

This bath ballistic is so pretty with its pastel pink and lavender colour, and a little pink rose bud on top. In the bath, it fizzes away to a glorious bright pink shade and the rose petals turn into gooey globules which I found fun to play with as I'm basically a child. The scent was a lovely strong floral with jasmine, ylang ylang and a heavy musk.

Floating Island bath melt
When I picked this up in the shop, it had a lovely warming cocoa and almond scent. However, once it had dissolved in the bath, the scent was barely noticeable. I was also disappointed by the moisturising element. The bath melts I've used before have left my skin feeling really soft and smooth, but this one had no obvious effect. A real shame!

By the way, if you enjoy reading my blog and would love to see me in Company magazine (let's face it, that would be AMAZING!), you can vote for me here

  3. I'm sorry but I saw the first pic of this post in my blog feed and did a double take because it was definitely a green butt. That is a butt. I'm sorry but it is. (My mental age is really showing.)
